July 2026 Event: Artmakers Sing-Along

Last Sunday, Valley Grove welcomed ArtMakers for a special day of creativity, they setup their instruments and songbooks in the wooden church.

Based in Northfield, ArtMakers is a nonprofit organization that brings together artists with and without disabilities through visual arts, music, theater, and storytelling. Their mission is centered on building an inclusive community where creativity is accessible to everyone, making Valley Grove a fitting backdrop for the day's activities.

The Valley Grove Preservation Society extends its sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the event possible. Volunteers worked behind the scenes to welcome guests, keep everyone comfortable during the summer heat, and ensure the day ran smoothly. Their generosity and willingness to lend a hand are what make community events like this possible.

We also thank the ArtMakers participants, organizers, and visitors for spending part of their weekend with us. We look forward to welcoming them back to Valley Grove for future opportunities to celebrate art, history, and community together.
